Hello world!
The past few years have created a nearly perfect series of events for me. I graduated from design school at the IU School of Informatics in Human Computer Interaction Design, got a fantastic job at Cornerstone Information Systems (allowing me to remain in Btown!!!), got married to a wonderful man, Aaron Buechlein, and we just bought a house with the Marching Hundred in the backyard! Designing things has become a way of living, completely consuming most of my time (in my best Edna Mode voice); whether it be a computer user interface, a vector print of our soon-to-be 4 years old labradoodle, Sadie, interior/deco work for our house, graphic work for mom and dad’s new restaurant, Mimi’s …. I could go on and on. I try to design everything I can, to the absolute best of my ability. This blog is dedicated to that, my efforts at practicing my craft, enhancing my critical eye for beautiful things, a place to record my finds from the thrift store, share my work with others, and keep my New Years resolution for 2010, to blog, as I should have been doing for the last 8 years.
