my lucky day
Today’s thing of the day is collecting. I’ve been a collector for years, since I can remember really. I recall being very young and taking anything and everything my grandmas would want rid of. I realize now (especially after watching A&E’s “Hoarders”) that it would be easy for a collector to go astray. I’ve decided that the best way to keep things under wraps, whilst still continuing my obsession, is to open a store on Etsy. I’m also going to start putting things in Nanny’s booth at the antique mall. The hard part now will be deciding what to keep for myself, and what to sell.
I can’t say enough about Bloomington’s Goodwill store on the west side of town. They are constantly updating the material on their shelves, bringing in pieces of furniture that you wouldn’t believe are sitting there with a $5 price tag, the overall experience is steller. I frequent all of the second hand stores around, they easily have the most mid century modern and vintage finds.
Here are just a few of today’s finds… I’m on my way, Etsy! Store details to follow in the coming weeks!
